OTHER PROVISIONS
Article 26 Exchange of Judicial Intelligence
Both contracting parties should, upon request, provide each
other, through channels provided in Article 6, sub. (1) with information
concerning the laws and judicial application of their own country and
exchange legal publications.
Article 27 Exemption from Certification
Documents produced or certified and sealed by the court(s) or
other competent authorities of either contracting party shall be used without
certification in the territories of the other party.
Article 28 Protection of Witnesses and Verifiers
1.
Witnesses or verifiers who are asked by the requested contracting
party to appear in court, regardless their nationalities, should not be
held responsible, or deprived of their liberty by the requesting
contracting party for crimes committed before entry, or for evidence given,
verification made, or other act involved in the proceedings concerned.
2.
If a witness or verifier who does not leave the territories of
the requesting contracting party while he may do so within fifteen days
counting from the second day after notice is given that he is not
required to stay any longer, will forfeit the protection accorded to him
under the previous clause.
Article 29 Implementation of the Agreement
Any difficulties encountered in the implementation of this
Agreement should be resolved through diplomatic channels.
