BETTING DUTY (AMENDMENT)

(a) the money paid to the Club under section 4C(2) and (4) of

principal Ordinance on and after 1 July 1986 less any money paid by the Club under section 4C(2A) of the principal Ordinance on and after that date; and

(b) the amount of money that would have been paid to the Club under section 4C(2) of the principal Ordinance on and after 1 July 1986 had this Ordinance come into force on that date.

(2) If the amount determined under subsection (1)(a) exceeds the amount determined under subsection (1)(b), the Club shall pay the differ- ence to the Lotteries Fund.

(3) If the amount determined under subsection (1)(b) exceeds the amount determined under subsection (1)(a), the Chief Secretary shall authorize payment of the difference to the Club out of the Lotteries Fund.
