HANOI TÓ FCO FLASH TELEGRAM NUMBER
TALKS IN HANOI
1. The telegram bears a time of origin of 1630Z and given that the telegram (430 words) had first to be typed to produce a tape, then off-line encrypted and subsequently transmitted it is not unreasonable that Hanoi made contact with CRS Hanslope Park at
1720Z.
2. The transmission to CRS was completed at 1744Z and received in London at 1754Z.
3. The radio transmission proved corrupt and a further transmission from Hanoi was recieved in London at 1810Z, off line decypher could then be completed, and was at 1826Z..
4. At 1828Z an advance copy was sent to Mr Gillmore who advised COD of the distribution shortly afterwards. A copy was sent to the Resident Clerk in parallel. Mr Hum who could not be located received his advance by the first box this morning. Distribution copies similarly issued by the first box today.
Shit barrell.
