An Ordinance to amend the Trade Unions Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Trade Unions (Amendment) Short title Ordinance 1988.

Section 2 of the Trade Unions Ordinance is amended-

(a) by adding after the definition of "branch"-

""electoral fund” means a fund established under section

33A;"; and

(b) in the definition of "funds" by repealing "allocated to a" and

substituting "in an electoral or".

3.

Interpretation (Cap. 332)

Sections 16(c), 20(1), 28(1), 33(1)(h) and (j), 34, 45(1) and 48(3) "Hong Kong" are amended by repealing "the Colony" and substituting "Hong Kong".
