The Second Schedule

Fees and Expenses

1. Unless otherwise provided all payments shall be made in

pounds sterling.

2.

Payment for all work carried out in the United Kingdom by

the Inspectorate in performance of any of the said duties shall

be based on the following rates per hour.

Professional Staff

£35.85 per hour

Inspecting Officer

£28.70 per hour

Assistant Inspecting Officer

£22.92 per hour

Administrative Staff

Rate

Higher Executive Officer

£15.84 per hour

Executive Officer

Administrative Officer

£12.94 per hour

£9.92 per hour

These rates, which include departmental overheads, shall be

subject to amendment from time to time in accordance with the

rates notified by the Secretary of State, and shall attract VAT

at the standard rate.
