The HK Nuclear Investment Company was to send
its people out on a mission to allay fears about nuclear energy, the HK Standard reported.
The mission would be a three-pronged one, with a tour and exhibition, talks and publications.
Sir Jack Cater, managing director of the HKNIC, told the paper that the plan would be launched in the latter half of this year.
Wednesday, April 6 The HK Standard said in an editorial that a nuclear plant required constent vigilance ví a very high order, just when something was going wrong or about to go away.

The advantage of cheap nuclear power would continue to be forcefully put by its proponents. The dangers would continue to be pointed out by its detractors. Another Chernobyl would remind us all that advanced technology carried with it a high price.
