Council whether the CNAA now considers that the

Sir, the CNAA's comments did include comments which
were to the effect that the quality of the courses
did now compare with those of the Polytechni

the Baptist College. Sir, recognition by the Civil
Service I think goes a bit beyond the original
question; it certainly goes beyond my own expertise
but I will refer this question to the Secretary for
the Civil Service.

Sir, in the last paragraph of his answer, the
Secretary said the Lingnan College's proposal has
considerable implications for the longer-term role
