As I mentioned
when I introduced these Bills on
our
9 December last year, it is the intention to carry out a
comprehensive review of the composition of the four
Councils and Boards and the points which Members have made
on these bodies will be taken into account. The
arrangements for the registration and discipline of the
other professions to which Members have referred differ in
varying degrees, but I am sure that my official colleagues
will have noted Members' comments on these matters, and
that we all agree on the need to safeguard both
professional standards and the interests of the community
as a whole.
Sir, I beg to move.
