Hong Kong is like any other society.

It would be astonishing

if you got unanimity, but this matter has been fully discussed and

debated in Hong Kong and in this country.

Everyone wants to see some movement towards direct elections.

The argument was about when that should happen. Deep division on

that, and we bave come to the conclusion that we think is right,

which will be widely supported in Hong Kong.
