AMENDMENTS TO LETTERS PATENT AND ROYAL INSTRUCTIONS

I enclose a printed set of amendments to Letters Patent and Royal Instructions received this week from Hong Kong. I hope they are in accordance with the amendments drafted and sent to the printers by Paul Fifoot.

The Privy Council Office confirmed this morning that the March Privy Council meeting will take place on 23 March. Papers must therefore be presented to the Privy Council Office no later than 16 March.

We therefore propose to go ahead and prepare a submission for Ministers' approval. Would you be very kind and prepare a draft note for the Privy Council, please.
