Application

of Criminal Procedure Ordinance.

25. (1)

Subject to this Ordinance the provisions of

the Criminal Procedure Ordinance shall apply to proceedings

under this Ordinance with such modifications as may be

necessary for that purpose.

Power to extend time.

(2) Nothing in this Ordinance shall be construed as

limiting the powers of the High Court under the Criminal

Procedure Ordinance.

26. Where he is of the opinion that neither the

prosecutor nor the accused will be substantially

prejudiced thereby a judge may on application, extend the

time prescribed for the doing of any act by or by virtue of

powers conferred by this Ordinance.

Amendment of Schedule.

27. The Governor in Council may by order amend the

Schedule.

Consequential amendments. (Cap. 1.)

28. (1) Section 89(1) of the Interpretation and

General Clauses Ordinance is amended

-

(a) by deleting "or" at the end of paragraph (c);

(b) by deleting the full stop at the end of paragraph

(d) and substituting the following
