CONTROL OF PUBLICATIONS CONSOLIDATION (AMENDMENT)
(3) Every proprietor, printer, publisher or editor of a copy of a local newspaper produced or delivered under subsection (1) shall be deemed to be the proprietor, printer, publisher or editor respectively of all local newspapers which are of the same title, purport or effect as the copy of the local newspaper so produced or delivered (any minor variations being disregarded) unless the proprietor, printer, publisher or editor proves that those local newspapers were not printed, published or edited by him or with his knowledge or consent.". Section 18 of the principal Ordinance is amended— by deleting paragraph (a) and substituting the following-
"(a) the registration of local newspapers and news agencies and their proprietors, printers, publishers and editors and the keeping of registers for that purpose;"; (b) in paragraph (b), by deleting "distributors of newspapers" and
substituting the following-

(c) in paragraph (c), by deleting "licensed distributors" and substitut-
ing the following—
"newspaper distributors licensed for that purpose”;

(e) by deleting paragraph (ƒ);
(ƒ) in paragraph (ħ)—
(i) by deleting "newspaper or printed document or publica- tion" and substituting the following-

(b) in subsection (2), by inserting before "newspaper" in the second
place where it occurs the following-
"local".
17. The principal Ordinance is amended by adding after section 20 Addition of the following-

21. The Governor in Council may, by notice published in the Gazette, amend the Schedule.".

18. The Schedule to the principal Ordinance is deleted and replaced by Deletion and the following—
