Clause 3 amends section 143 to raise the level of the penalties that may be prescribed in regulations made under the Ordinance (including regulations made under section 15) for contraventions of those regulations.

4. Clause 4 substitutes a new Ninth Schedule increasing the penalties for offences under the Ordinance.

5. This Bill has no Public Service staffing or public expenditure implications.
