(F) Benefits on retirement in the public interest or
disciplinary grounds
Officers retired in the public interest or on disciplinary grounds will not receive their pension benefits until they reach retirement age.
(G) Death benefits
Death gratuity is payable as follows :-

in respect of an officer who dies in service after not less than 2 years' service, an amount equivalent to the officer's highest annual pensionable emoluments or his maximum commuted pension gratuity (i.e. 50% commutation), whichever is the greater;
in respect of a pensioner who dies after retirement, an amount equivalent to his highest annual pensionable emoluments or his maximum commuted pension gratuity, whichever is the greater, less all the pension and commuted pension gratuity which he had received;
in respect of a person eligible for a deferred pension who dies before receipt of the deferred pension, an amount equivalent to the maximum commuted
pension gratuity of the deferred pension plus any pension increases.
(H) Enhancement of pension benefits
Enhancement of pension benefits is granted in the following circumstances at the rates set out in Annex A(ii) :-

retirement of disciplined services staff on operational grounds at a prescribed age before the age of 60 years;
retirement of an officer on invaliding who has completed between 5 and 22.5 years pensionable service;
