(5) Where a person whose pension has ceased under

subsection (1) or (2) obtains his discharge from bankruptcy

or insolvency, the Governor shall direct that the pension

shall be restored to him as from the date of such discharge

or any later date as the Governor shall determine, and the

pension shall be restored accordingly.

a person to whom a pension has been granted is

convicted of

(1939 c. 121.)

(i) one or more offences under the Official

Secrets Acts 1911 to 1939 and sentenced to

imprisonment for any term;

(ii) any offence in connexion with the public

service, being an offence which is certified by

the Governor to have been gravely injurious to

Hong Kong or to be liable to lead to serious loss

of confidence in the public service, irrespective

of the sentence;

(iii) one or more offences under Part II of

the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance and sentenced

to imprisonment for any term; or

(Cap. 200.)

(iv) treason under section 2 of the Crimes

Ordinance, irrespective of the sentence;
