Routine inspections of 1 shipper and 2 airlines (Japan Airlines and Rosenbalm Aviation, Inc.) were carried out.

Five temporary permissions were issued to Civil Aviation Administration of China, Hong Kong Dragon Airlines and Transcorp Airways for the carriage of dangerous goods.

Seven temporary exemptions were issued to Royal Brunei Airlines, China Airlines and Lufthansa German Airlines for the carriage of munitions of war.

Following advice from Legal Department, prosecution proceeded against a company for breaching Regulation 4 of the Dangerous Goods (Consignment by Air) (Safety) Regulations 1985.
