An Ordinance to amend the Roads (Works, Use and Compensation)

Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

Short title.

1.

Amendment of section 17.

(Cap. 370.)

Amendment of section 36.

This Ordinance may be cited as the Roads (Works, Use and Compensation) (Amendment) Ordinance 1987.

2. Section 17(1) of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting paragraphs (a) and (b) and substituting the following—

"(a) direct that the road or part thereof shall be closed;

(b) direct that the Crown foreshore or sea-bed shall be reclaimed;”.

3.

Section 36 of the principal Ordinance is amended in paragraph (a) by deleting ", authorized".
