Both HCCM QC/QA Department and the JVC QC Surveillance Team have separately conducted 100% checks of the reinforcement in this segment and are satisfied that they have been installed according to the approved construction drawings.

On the basis of the above and subject to the review by the Executive Committee, the General Management intend to release the hold point for pouring of concrete in the second layer of Unit 1 Raft.

Recommendation

The Executive Committee is requested to review this Report, and if satisfied, to agree to the General Management releasing the hold point on pouring of concrete in the second layer of Unit 1 Raft on date to be determined by General Management.
