monitoring arrangements

(The Hong Kong Royal Observatory has some

experience in this field)

(b) The planning base for developing emergency plans

(c)

(Hong Kong Government plans to follow closely the

procedures set out in IAEA Safety Guides

supplemented with advice from UKAEA).

Communication links between the power station and

regional civilian authorities

(How this will be achieved, what information will

be routinely communicated, e.g., meteorological

data; what information will be transmitted in

emergencies).

(a) Assessing radiological consequences of

accident. This could cover:

(i)

Use of computer models

Does the JVC plan to use a computer

model for assessing accidents or

potential accidents?

Should consideration be given to the

joint development of such a system?
