Many papers reported that the four requesto by the Legco group on the incident at the Daya Bay plant ware endorsed as • Legco in-house meeting yesterday.
The Secretary for Economic Services, Anson Chan, told newater. after a public function yesterday that the Government had already stated its demands on the incident to the Guangdong Nuclear Power Joint Venture Company. She said the Government was awaiting a full report on the case and would make a statement on the incident as soon as it was in a position to do so.

Sunday, October 18 In minor coverage, several papata quoted a Central News Agency dispatch as saying that the latest edition of the "Tide" magazine in HK carried a complaint letter which stated that cracks were found at the containment shield of a reactor at the Qinshan nuclear plant.
According to the report, the complainant quoted an expart a. saying that the Incident was very serious, but the Chinese authorities had only repaired the containment shield by filling the cracka with
