Should delegates wish, time could be made available for examination of ACS facilities in Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney.

In keeping with established CCC procedures, individual administrations

are to be responsible for travel, accommodation and subsistence costs of officials attending the conference. Australia will meet all costs associated with conference venues and social activities and also provide logistical support.

I have attached forms for notification of attendance and for detailing required accommodation arrangements. It would be appreciated if completed forms be returned po slater than Friday 8 March 1987 in order that appropriate accommodation bookings may be made at an early time. For travel from Canberra to Melbourne on Wednesday 8 April, we would suggest Ansett Flight 387 (departing Canberra 4.00pm amd arriving Melbourne 4.55pm) or Australian Airlines Flight 437 (departing Canberra 2.10pm and arriving Melbourne 3.05pm).

The Australian Customs Service looks forward with pleasure to the participation of your organisation in this first Conference of Regional Administrations.

Yours faithfully
