LORD GLENARTHUR'S VISIT TO HONG KONG: 16-19 SEPTEMBER: BRIEFING

Lord Glenarthur has looked at your suggestions for briefing for his trip to Hong Kong in September (below). He is content with what you envisage. He would also be grateful for any more general background reading that he might take with him when he goes on leave on 13 August.

2. It may be helpful to let you know at this stage of the preliminary arrangements we have made for going through the briefing, and any further oral briefing, in September. We have blocked off from 11.00 am 1.00 pm on Wednesday 9 September

and 10.00 - 11.00 am on Thursday 10 September. We have reserved the Training Department media facilities for a mock press interview from 11.15 am 12.45 pm on
