Visit of RHKP Delegation to China

The Commissioner of Police, Mr R.H. Anning, led a delegation of the Royal Hong Kong Police Force on a visit to China between 6th and 14th May 1987. This visit was the fifth of a continuing series of liaison meetings between the Public Security Bureau in China and the Royal Hong Kong Police Force. These meetings are held at six monthly intervals with the venue alternating between China and Hong Kong. The first such meeting was held in Beijing in February 1985 followed by the second in Hong Kong (November 1985), third in Beijing (May 1986), and the fourth in Hong Kong (November 1986). The programme for the visit was arranged by the Chinese National Central Bureau. The itinerary included visits to Beijing from 6th to 10th, Shanghai from 10th to 12th and then Guangzhou from 12th to 14th May, 1987.
