Lord Glenarthur has read with interest Sir R Evans' despatch of 3 July; your submission of 28 July; and Mr Gillmore's minute of 29 July. He agrees with Mr Gillmore that it would be interesting to see this despatch again in the autumn, together with its intended companion piece on China's external relations. The Secretary of State would certainly wish to see both despatches then.
