of all major commodities registered increases in the third

quarter of 1986. Compared with the same quarter in 1985,

domestic exports of textile yarn and fabrics, clothing,

substantial increases, both at a rate of 24%. On the same

basis of comparison, re-exports of textile yarn and

fabrics rose by 17%. However, re-exports of iron and

steel, machinery specialised for particular industries, telecommunications and sound recording apparatus, and

electrical machinery fell, by 34%, 30%, 21%, and 20%

respectively.
