contravenes any of the provisions

of section 29A(1) or (2); or

knowingly employs or permits any

other person to carry out any lift

works or escalator works in con-

travention of section 29A(1) or (2),

shall be guilty of an offence and shall be

liable on conviction to a fine of $2,000 and

to imprisonment for 6 months.";
