contravenes any of the provisions
of section 29A(1) or (2); or
knowingly employs or permits any
other person to carry out any lift
works or escalator works in con-
travention of section 29A(1) or (2),
shall be guilty of an offence and shall be
liable on conviction to a fine of $2,000 and
to imprisonment for 6 months.";
(c) in subsection (2)
(i) by inserting after "section" the

"27C or"; and
(ii) by deleting "summary";
(d)
in subsection (3)
(i) in paragraph (a), by deleting "the
provisions of section 32 (2) or 39(5)" and
substituting the following -
