in paragraph 8 by deleting "tribunal" in

both places where it appears and substituting

in each case the following

"Lands Tribunal".

Consequential amendment. (Cap. 17.)

19. The Lands Tribunal Ordinance is amended by

inserting at the end of the Schedule thereto the

following -

"311. Air Pollution Control Ordinance.".

Explanatory Memorandum

This Bill makes various amendments to the

Air Pollution Control Ordinance (Cap. 311).

2. The amendment in clause 2(b)(ii) revises

the grounds on which a person may object to the grant

of a licence to conduct a specified process in any

premises.

The other amendments in clause 2 are minor.

Clause 3 amends section 15(3) of the

principal Ordinance to bring it into line with the

amendment in clause 2(b)(ii).

4. The new section 15A in clause 4 provides

that every licence holder shall pay such annual charge

as may be prescribed by regulations.

5. The amendments in clauses 5, 8, 13(a)(ii)

and 16 make minor amendments to the principal Ordinance

and the amendment in clause 14 is consequential.
