Appointment of Noise Control Authority.

(1) The Governor shall appoint a public officer

to be the Noise Control Authority for the purposes of this

Ordinance.

(2) The Authority may authorize any public officer to

perform or exercise all or any of the functions which are

imposed or conferred on the Authority by this Ordinance.

Governor may give directions.

4. (1) The Governor may give such directions as he

thinks fit, either generally or in any particular case,

with respect to the exercise or performance by the

Authority of any functions under this Ordinance.

(2) The Authority shall, in the exercise or

performance of any functions under this Ordinance, comply

with any direction given by the Governor under subsection

(1).

5. (1) Any person who on any day between the hours

prescribed for the purposes of this section, or at any time
