Lot No. 3298 in D.D. 104 under crown land license No. 2318 was used by Man as a rearing ground for gold fish, but the operation of which ceased in 1981 when Man was informed of Government's intention to resume the land. Though Government does not do so until this year when the land is needed for execution of stage 3 of the project, Man has abandoned the rearing ground and its related investments for several years and dares not make further investments. As a result, he has suffered great losses. He requests Government to compensate him fairly for the costs he incurred in building the structures and drilling the well(s). He also requests the original temporary license be retained pending the relocation of the rearing ground.

In view of the facts that his permanent small house numbered 3861 which is located at the skirt of the area to be resumed for execution of stage 3 works will be affected and residents of the house seriously disturbed by the works, and that Government is going to resume the house site for execution of stage 4 of the project, Man requests Government to resume the house site now.

Finally, Man hopes the addressee will consider his requests and tell him the outcome, and that the interests of indigenous residents in the New Territories will be given due regard.
