The Government announced today that
Mr John Chan, LVO, OBE, JP, the present
Director of Information Services, will take
over from Mr Alan Scott, CVO, CBE, JP when
he leaves in early April to take up his
appointment as Governor of the Cayman Islands.
Mr Chan will vacate his present post on
2.2.87 and be on attachment to DCS' office
to familiarise himself with his new duties.
Mrs Irene Yau, who is currently the
Deputy Director of Information Services,
will succeed Mr Chan as Director. She will
be replaced by Mr Kevin Mak, who is now
Deputy Regional Secretary (Hong Kong & Kowloon).

officers are annexed.
