PRESS RELEASE
The Government announced today the following
senior directorate movements and appointments :
Mr Harnam Grewal, the present Secretary
for Transport, will succeed Mr David
Ford as Secretary for the Civil Service;
Mr Michael LEUNG Man-kin, who is currently
the Director of Education, will succeed
Mr Grewal as Secretary for Transport;
Mr LI Yuet-ting, Deputy Director of
Education, will become Director of
Education in place of Mr Leung;
Mr Selwyn Alleyne, will be posted to the
Hong Kong Government Office in London as
Commissioner when Mr Colvyn Haye leaves
the civil service on completion of his
agreement;
Mr John Yaxley, currently Secretary for
Economic Services, will become Deputy
Financial Secretary in place of Mr Alleyne;
