(2) Subject to the provisions of this Part of this Act,

the provisions of that Convention set out in Schedule 2 of

this Act as it applies in the United Kingdom (which include

Articles 9 and 10 as they have effect in consequence of a

reservation made by the United Kingdom under Article 17)

shall have the force of law in the Territory.

13. (1) For the purposes of the Convention as it has effect

under this Part of this Act the Territory shall be treated as

if it were a Contracting State, and the other Contracting

States shall be deemed to be:-

(a) the United Kingdom, including

(i)

each of the other Territories; and

(ii) the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man once the

Convention has been extended to the island in

question; and

(b) such States as are for the time being specified by an

Order in Council under this section as it applies in

the United Kingdom.

(2) The Convention shall be treated as applying:-

(a) between the Territory and the United Kingdom, as well

as between the Territory and each of the other

Territories, on and after the date on which this

section comes into force;
