The Second Schedule to the Road Traffic (Registration and Licensing of Vehicles) Regulations is amended in relation to annual licence fees-

(a) in item 1—

(i) in paragraph (a) by deleting "750" and substituting the following—

"800";

(ii) in paragraph (b) by deleting “1,500" and substituting the following—

"1,550"; and

(iii) in paragraph (c) by deleting “3,000” and substituting the following-

"3,150";

(b) in item 4 by deleting "2,000" and substituting the following---

(c) in item 5-

"2,100";

(i) in paragraph (a) by deleting “2,500" and substituting the following-

"2,600";

(ii) in paragraph (b) by deleting “3,750" and substituting the following—

“3,900";

(iii) in paragraph (c) by deleting "5,000" and substituting the following-

"5,200";

(iv) in paragraph (d) by deleting “6,200” and substituting the following—

"6,500"; and

(v) in paragraph (e) by deleting “7,400” and substituting the following—

"7,700";

(d) in item 7 by deleting "800" and substituting the following-

"830";

(e) in item 9 by deleting "750" and substituting the following--

"830";

(f) in item 11 by deleting "5,500" and substituting the following-

"5,700"; and

(g) in item 12 by deleting "1,750" and substituting the following-

"1,800".

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Stamp Duty (Amendment) Ordinance Short title and 1986 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1 April 1986.

2. The First Schedule to the principal Ordinance is amended under the heading Amendment of "HEAD 3: HONG KONG BEARER İNSTRUMENT" by deleting sub-head (1) First Schedule. and substituting the following-

“(1) HONG KONG BEARER INSTRU-

MENT issued in respect of any stock other than-

(a) any loan capital;

(b) units in a unit trust scheme under the

terms of which the funds of the trust cannot be invested in any investment other than loan capital

(A) $3 per $100 or part

thereof of market value on issue

(B) Before issue

(C) The person by whom

or on whose behalf the instrument is issued and any person who acts as the agent of that person for the purposes of the issue
