Amendment of section 16.
INLAND REVENUE (AMENDMENT) (NO. 2)
(b) in subsection (3) by inserting after "subsection (1)(i)” the following-
"and (/)"; and
(c) by inserting, after subsection (4), the following subsection-
3.
"(5) The amendments to this section effected by the Inland Revenue (Amendment) (No. 2) Ordinance 1986 shall apply to sums received or accrued by way of interest, gains or profits on or after 1 April 1986, and the provisions of this section in force immediately prior to the coming into force of that Ordinance shall continue to apply to such sums received or accrued prior to 1 April 1986 as if such amendments had not been enacted.".
Section 16(1)(c) of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting "or (k)” and substituting the following---
Amendment of section 42B.

“, (k) or (1)”.
Section 42B(1) of the principal Ordinance is amended—
(a) in paragraph (aa) by—--
(i) deleting "$7,500" wherever it occurs and substituting the following—
"$8,500"; and
(ii) deleting "$28,000" wherever it occurs and substituting the following-
(b) in paragraph (bb) by—
"$29,000";
(i) deleting "$17,000" wherever it occurs and substituting the following-
"$19,000"; and
(ii) deleting "$58,000" wherever it following-
occurs and substituting the
“$60,000"; and
(c) in paragraph (d) by deleting "$8,000" and substituting the following—

"$9,000".
For the purpose of calculating net chargeable income under section 63C(1) to ascertain provisional salaries tax for the year of assessment commencing on 1 April 1986 the references in sections 12B(1)(b) and (2)(b) to section 42B(1) shall be read as if they referred to section 42B(1) as amended by this Ordinance.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Road Traffic (Driving Licences Short title and Regulations and Registration and Licensing of Vehicles Regulations) (Amendment) commencement. Ordinance 1986 and shall be deemed to have come into operation at 2.30 p.m. on
26 February 1986.

The Second Schedule to the Road Traffic (Driving Licences) Regulations is Amendment of
Second Schedule to the Road Traffic (Driving
(a) in relation to the fee for issue or renewal of a full driving licence, by deleting Licences)
"160" and substituting the following---
"170";
(b) in relation to the fee for issue or renewal of a driving instructor's licence, by
deleting "500" and substituting the following-
"520";
(c) in relation to the fee for a learner's driving licence, by deleting "330" and
substituting the following-
"350";
(d) in relation to the fee for a temporary driving licence, by deleting "160" and
substituting the following-
"170";
(e) in relation to the fee for a driving test, by deleting "330" and substituting
the following-
"350"; and
(f) in relation to the fee for a driving instructor's test, by deleting "330" and
substituting the following
