I have received a copy of a newspaper report from one of the Hong Kong papers (as enclosed). I should be grateful for your comment on this matter since it certainly was not my understanding from the exchanges in the Hong Kong debates that 'war veterans' should have to purse their right of abode by claiming naturalisation after a protracted period of stay in Britain.
