REGISTRATION OF MINORS AS BRITISH OVERSEAS CITIZENS UNDER SECTION 27(1)
This is at discretion of Secretary of State. It could be open to a Home
Secretary in the future to consider applications under section 27(1) and to
register if he considers it appropriate in the particular circumstances of
each case. But it would not be right to try to suggest the sort of factors that
might be taken into account in some 50 odd years time.
