UNHCR PROGRAMMES IN CENTRAL AMERICA AND CUBA
1. I attach a report written by our Defence Liaison Officer, who probably has most contact with the police and other authorities who are aware of the refugees in Belize.
2. Initially we tried to follow your questionnaire, but the situation in Belize is such that it was felt a report of the type enclosed would better suit your purposes and give you a more accurate impression of the problem in Belize.
