I enclose a copy of a very disappointing letter of 16 October from Vienna (together with a copy of Vienna's earlier letter of 10

September).

Little scope in this for further pressure, I fear, but you may wish to go over the ground again locally with the UNHCR and Consul General. If having done so you see any mileage in pressing these (or other) cases again, please let me know.
