useful for Miss Cenalmor to discuss with Mr. Nial Farrell, UNHCR's Education Co-ordinator in Hong Kong, about the possibility of incorporating your programme into the existing adult language training programme and to share the resources which are already available in the camps.

We also understand that you still have some problems with funding. Enclosed is a list of French banks active in Hong Kong which you may wish to approach for financial support. Because of our large commitment in other areas of expenditure in connection with the refugee work, the Hong Kong Government has made no provision of funds for purposes of education and language training for the refugees.

We are most grateful for the interest shown by ESF in the well being of the Vietnamese refugees in Hong Kong. We sincerely hope that you will succeed in solving your problem in funding as well as in obtaining firm commitment of resettlement offers for the refugees from the French

Government.

Yours sincerely,

C!!
