Thank you very much indeed for all your help in preparing
for the Washington visit. The Attorney General was most grateful
for the quality of the briefing and for all the liaison work.

I enclose copies of the letters which he has written to
Ed Meese, Peter Wallison and Mary Mochary. The originals
have been sent to Washington, unsealed, via the bag.
I also enclose the personality notes with which the Embassy
provided us. The Attorney General returned his set to the
Embassy so we have not retained any copy of these.
I shall look forward to any dealings we may have in the future!
