adapt to Japanese society, having, for example, conversational ability of Japanese language.

A person who has a foster-parent who is recognised as

person of good character and as suitable to become guarantor for a long period of time.

The following criteria must also be satisfied:

(a)

Head of family should be between 20 and 45 years

of age.

(b)

There should be less than 4 dependants, including

spouse.

(c) Head of family should have at least 6 years of

schooling.

(d)

Head of

family should have job experience which may facilitate his employment in Japan.

All the family members should be in good health.
