Governing Body also decided at its 228th Session that the delegations of countries invited to be represented at the Conference should consist of one Government delegate, one Shipowners' delegate and one Seafarers' delegate, together with such advisers as might be considered necessary."
While the organisation of the work of the Conference is a matter for determination by the Conference, it is expected that a number of committees or working parties will be set up to consider the various items on the agenda, and that some of these committees or working parties. will have to meet simultaneously. Your Government is therefore invited to take account, when composing its delegation, of the need to appoint a sufficient number of advisers to accompany each delegate, so that your country may play its full part in the work of the Conference, both in
I may plenary sitting and in the several committees or working parties. add that the travelling expenses and subsistence allowances of the delegates and their advisers will be payable by the governments concerned.
I should be grateful if you would be good enough to communicate to me at your earliest convenience the composition of your country's delega- tion to the Conference.
Yours faithfully,
For the Director-General:
Party Poral
Bertil Bolif
Deputy Director-General.
