Suggests that a slip road be constructed to allow traffic from Taikoo Shing direct access into the tunnel.

Written 20.3.86 explaining that links between the Estate and the tunnel have been investigated but that additional merging traffic would increase the possibility of congestion at the entrance to the tunnel producing additional adverse environmental effects at this sensitive location.

Non-estate traffic, would seek to use this route through the Estate into the tunnel leading to a deterioration of conditions within the Estate.

For these reasons, it is recommended that the objection be overruled.
