away from the roads. Adequate and appropriate traffic control measures, signs and carriageway markings will be used to direct motorists. Road lighting will be installed along with fire hydrants and emergency tele- phores. Fencing will be erected to segregate vehicles and pedestrians and landscaping will be undertaken to soften the impact of the works.

Land Resumption

The land in respect of which the powers under Section 13 of the Ordinance will be exercised for the purposes of or incidental to the works or the use is delineated on Plan No. RO/12 and is shown thereon as part of Lot QBML2 Sec. C and part of Lot QBML2 and Ext.

Roads to be closed and/or modified

Roads in respect of which the Government proposes to exercise the powers under Section 17 of the Ordinance are shown on Plan Nos. RO/11, RO/12, RO/14 to RO/16.

Alterations of the following are required as shown on Plan Nos. RO/11 and RO/12.

(a) realignment of the Island Eastern Corridor on Quarry Bay

Reclamation;

(b) realignment of slip roads 'K' and 'M' of the Taikoo

Shing Interchange;

(c) modification of the Island Eastern Corridor Sai Wan Ho

slip road;

(d) modification of the main span and southern ramp of the

footbridge east of Taikoo Shing Interchange.

Alterations of the following are required as shown on Plan Nos. RO/14 to RO/16.

(a) realignment of Cha Kwo Ling Road;

(b) the widening and realignment of Lei Yue Mun Road between

its junctions with Yau Tong Road and Cha Kwo Ling Road;
