A BILL

Amend the Mass Transit Railway (Land Resumption and

Related Provisions) Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the

advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

Short title.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Mass

Transit Railway (Land Resumption and Related Provisions) (Amendment) Ordinance 1986.

Amendment of

section 2. (Cap. 276.)

2. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended

by inserting after the definition of "Director" the

following

""eastern harbour crossing" means that part of the

railway between the junction of King Tip

Street and Kwun Tong Road in New Kowloon and

Quarry Bay in the Island of Hong Kong; ".

Amendment of section 3.

3. Section 3 of the principal Ordinance is amended

by inserting after "easements" wherever it appears the

following

"or rights".
