Amend the Road Traffic (Driving Licences) Regulations and the Road Traffic

(Registration and Licensing of Vehicles) Regulations.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the

Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Road Traffic (Driving Licences Short title and Regulations and Registration and Licensing of Vehicles Regulations) (Amendment) commencement. Ordinance 1986 and shall be deemed to have come into operation at 2.30 p.m. on

26 February 1986.

2. The Second Schedule to the Road Traffic (Driving Licences) Regulations is Amendment of amended

Second Schedule to the Road

(a) in relation to the fee for issue or renewal of a full driving licence, by deleting Traffic (Driving

“160” and substituting the following-

"170";

(b) in relation to the fee for issue or renewal of a driving instructor's licence, by

deleting "500" and substituting the following--

"520";

(c) in relation to the fee for a learner's driving licence, by deleting "330" and

substituting the following—

"350";

(d) in relation to the fee for a temporary driving licence, by deleting "160" and

substituting the following—

"170";

(e) in relation to the fee for a driving test, by deleting “330” and substituting

the following-

"350"; and

(f) in relation to the fee for a driving instructor's test, by deleting "330" and

substituting the following-

"350".

3. The Second Schedule to the Road Traffic (Registration and Licensing of Amendment of Vehicles) Regulations is amended in relation to annual licence fees-

(a) in item 1—

(i) in paragraph (a) by deleting "750" and substituting the following—

"800";

(ii) in paragraph (b) by deleting "1,500" and substituting the following-

"1,550"; and

(iii) in paragraph (c) by deleting "3,000" and substituting the following-

"3,150";

(b) in item 4 by deleting “2,000" and substituting the following-

(c) in item 5—

"2,100";

(i) in paragraph (a) by deleting “2,500" and substituting the following-

"2,600";

(ii) in paragraph (b) by deleting “3,750" and substituting the following-

"3.900":
