"Payment of fares.

5A. (1) Subject to paragraph (4),

no passenger shall travel or attempt to

travel on a bus without paying the

appropriate fare for his journey, together

with the appropriate charge for any goods

lawfully carried by him on the bus.

(2) No passenger or intending passenger

on a bus shall with intent to avoid payment

of his fare use any ticket or pass

(a) which has expired;
