(v) It is clear that plant and animal foodstuff imported to Hong Kong from the People's Republic of China may also be subjected to

contamination in the event of an accident. Please supply the number

of tons of each type of foodstuff (using the categorisation of

attachment A, questions I, II(i) and II(ii), plus pigs) imported to

Hong Kong from China and consumed in Hong Kong. Please also supply,

as far as is reasonably practicable, information about the

geographical origin of these products, especially the distance of the

areas of origin from the proposed power station.

5.3

Freshwater Food Products

(i) Please supply the information requested in questions II(iv) (a) (a)

of Attachment A for freshwater crustacea and molluscs also.

(ii) Please supply estimates of the average depth of fishponds and of the

water turnover rate for the fish ponds as a whole.

5.4 Cultured Marine Food Products

Please supply, for oyster beds and marine fish culture zones separately, estimates of the total surface area, average water depth, suspended sediment load (tonnes/m3) and sedimentation rate (tonnes/m2/yr).
