"The terms of reference were
+ to assess the operating and maintenance requirements
in plants similar
similar to the Daya
the Daya Bay project, and the risks associated with such plants;
+ to
plans
are
necessary and
consider whether, and if So, what contingency feasible for densely populated metropolitan areas located within 50 Km of such plans; and
+ to obtain all the information that might be available from the IAEA and other recognized authorities on the operation and maintenance requirements of nuclear power stations, and what advice they can offer on the monitoring of radiation hazards.
Last but not the least, the delegations would like to invite public views on the content of the Report.
Finally, the delegations wish to register their heartfelt thanks to all the personnel of the UMELCO secretariat who have contributed significantly towards the compilation of the Report.
